Consultation on regulation of CILEX members

We are consulting on potential changes to its regulatory arrangements to include authorised members of CILEX, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. This follows a CILEX consultation launched in mid-August on proposals to redelegate the regulation of its members to us.
Under discussion:
- a separate Code of Conduct for individual authorised CILEX lawyers
- authorisation rules that maintain a clear separate career path for CILEX members
- how we would approach investigation and enforcement activity involving authorised CILEX lawyers.
