SRA recruiting for two new lay Board members

We are recruiting for two new lay members to join our Board from the start of 2023.
We are particularly interested in individuals with at least one of the following:
- Regulatory, competition and/or consumer protection expertise
- The understanding and experience to enable them to take on the role of Chair of the SRA's Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) when the current role holder's term ends next year, and preferably with an appropriate financial qualification.
Candidates should have previous experience of working with a Board or the ability to do so, a track record of achievement in complex organisations, and the ability to think strategically. They should also possess excellent communication skills and a demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 5 October. New members will take their places on the Board from 1 January 2023.
